Q: If I download an app onto my iPad, but delete it before I plug my ipad into my computer, will it show up?

If you delete it then no, it won't appear on your iPad or on your computer's iTunes (unless you have automatic downloads turned 'on') - but you can re-download it for free (as long as it remains available in the store and you use the same iTunes account).
