Freeze Buttons Disappear, EXS Instrument renamed "EXS24 MC". Huh?

I noticed that two of my EXS24 instrument tracks didn't sport Freeze buttons... Then I noticed that the name of the plugin read "EXS24 MC". Meanwhile, all of my other EXS24 instruments show the correct name in the plugin slot, and they have accompanying Freeze buttons.

Can anyone explain how an EXS24 instruments becomes an "MC", and why there's no Freeze button?

Hi,

"MC" is multichannel output version of ESX,
hence the "no freeze" option. ( as it outputs to Aux channels)

The MC is right below the stereo ESX, so you probably just slipped the cursor a little and went to this next instrument..
