Trouble resetting i cloud username and password?

Yup the iPhone won't let you change iCloud setting on an iPhone. I resolved it by logging into Apple tech support afterwards and creating a new iCloud account with it's own username and password and I was back up and running. Not perfect, but once I reset all my links there was no perceptible loss of relevant data. See; there IS some life left in regular computers!
