changing order of photos in iphoto

I have a journal open, and hit edit. Then I want to rearrange the order of the photos. I touch and hold a thumbnail as instructed, but the screen immediately jumps to the bottom of the set. How can I move a photo up in the order? How can I keep the screen from jumping or scrolling down. And is there a way to make the screen scroll up?

It seems like you're doing it correctly, but iPhoto is not acting correctly. Have you installed the recent iPhoto 1.0.1 update? There was also a recent iOS update to version 5.1.1. I have both of those updates and it's working correctly for me. Also, are you using an iPhone or iPad? Those kinds of details would be helpful for troubleshooting your problem.
