My iphone 4 screen is frozen and enlarged so I cant get into the phone, answer calls, or shut it off. Any suggestions?

My iphone screen is frozen and enlarged so i can nolonger unlock my screen, answer phone calls, or shut the power off. Any suggestions other than getting a new phone?

iPhone 4, iOS 5.1

If your screen is enlarged you may have zoom on. With zoom on you double-tap with three fingers to change the zoom, and used three fingers to drag the screen. If this seems to be the case on your phone, you turn it off by going to Settings>General>Accessibility>Zoom>Off. If the screen is literally frozen (unresponsive), then try resetting your phone: hold the on/off and home buttons until you see the Apple logo (ignore the off slider that appears first), then release.
