My status is always "Available", but my friends see it as offline. what to dooo?

i can talk to everyone, but not send or receive files beause i appear offline, but i cannot change it because to me it says im available

any tips?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

HI,


Try removing the Account from the iChat Menu > Preferences > Accounts (Use the Minus Button after highlighting the account) and then Re-add the account/Screen Name.
