Does it make sense to report the serial numbers to Apple in this case ? I mean, once the theft connects again to itunes the SN Number shows up. Is it possible to lock the iPad / Iphone for iTunes use then ?

Thank you. I registered my products. I thought there might be a way to report the iPad and iPhone as stolen to Apple and with the series numbers Apple may lock any further use - as anytime the new "owner" needs to connect to iTunes.
Apple does not intervene with thefts.
