i have an ATV 2*.
while i looks a movie on it, after 5 min it's stop working and i have to swicth off itunes on m mac and open it again.
do u have any suggestion?

How are you using your ATV? Internet wired, wireless, or AirPlay? Make sure your energy saving settings isn't putting something to sleep.
I suspect you may be using a Windows operating system?

Well once again Churchill never fails to catch me on my midnight posts when not paying attention to what i'm reading or writing.
I"m curious Aless, do you have a couple ethernet cables handy? I"m wondering if you connect your Mac & ATV this way to your router, if the issue persists. At least it could rule out some possibilities.
Lets make sure iTunes is up to date... and also power-cycle that ATV.
I too am having similar problems with my 'password" being sought at random periods of time, very disheartening when you then see the number of other purchasers of this product with the same problem. I am running home share through iTTunes which is on my "acer" pc running windows 7.
I really don't think that there is a compatability problem?
Has anyone got to the bottom of this and sorted this out?
