Q: how to assign ringtone to blocked callers

Does anyone know how to assign a ringtone to "blocked callers"?  I have songs/tones assigned to various contacts, but would like to assign to blocked callers (i.e. my work)

iPhone 4, iOS 5

    i asked in genius bar about a year ago and was told its not possible, i doubt this would of changed

    I'm also interested in this.  I tried creating a new contact called, "Blocked" and assigning a phone number the same way as "Blocked" but that didnt work. 

     

    Anyone else know how to do this yet?

    It can not be done. The reason Caller ID displays "Blocked" is because the caller has explicitly decided to block their number from being transmitted over the caller ID system. Without a number, it is not possible for the phone to match the string received with a phone number in a contact.

     

    Only your carrier can block these calls. Contact them and see if they offer this service.
