May 6, 2012 12:13 PM in response to Vblakeby Don Archibald,Make sure the keyboard has batteries in it, and has been turned on - the end opposite the battery cover is a pushbutton, press and holdin that button until you get a green light on the keyboard (the light is quite tiny).
It's been a while since I got one new, but as initially shipped there may be a clear plastic guard over the outboard end of the batteries; if present, this needs to be removed before the batteries can complete their circuit.
