on bluetooth I hit forget this device. how do I get this back?

what exactly does this do when you reset network settings? what do you do next after you reset? i have an iPhone 4 with the new OS6. when i accidently deleted my laptop from bluetooth with "forget this device" i have been able to figure out how to get it back

In iOS 7.1.2 retting the network settings did not work! Does anyone know how to do this for a headset?

If you execute 'Forget This Device', put the device back in pairing mode and turn on BT on the iDevice.

Put the headset in Pairing mode (see its manual), then go to Settings/Bluetooth on the phone.

What brand/model headset do you have?

Some headphones, like my Sennheiser Momentum Wireless, do not have a manual pairing mode, they pair automatically with the detected devices. I have tried everything and thus far been unable to reconnect. My headphones say "device not found". Fortunately, my iPad, which is my main source for music, remains connected.
