airport express attached to wirelss network not playing itunes to speakers in stereo, only get static.
Try temporarily connecting a pair of stereo headphones to the audio port on the AirPort Express Base Station (AX). Do you still just get static? If so, then it may be possible that the AX's internal audio circuitry or audio port itself has malfunctioned. If not, then it could be the cable or your audio receiver/speakers that may be the issue.
