my mac shows airport is connected but wen i open my browser it shows dns look up is failed. can anyone suggest how to overcome this problem as soon as possible.

Use OpenDNS DNS servers (208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220). Just copy those two comma separated IP's into the DNS Server box in your Network preferences. Alternatively, open the Advanced preferences and click the DNS tab and and add each IP in the left panel one per line.
