Q: Removing the .tmp file does not resolve video download error  (one episode of a full season purchased)

I downloaded a full TV series and just one file (in the middle of the season, of course) will not download.

Since the other files downloaded, it shouldn't be related to antivirus, software, hardware or other issues.

Just to be sure, I updated itunes, macbook; rebooted router, modem; burnt feathers and hopped around on one foot.

I checked numerous other threads to see if this problem has come up before, but didn't spot anything.
