Easy way: use the paid ($20) version of  iPhoto Library Manager to merge the Libraries.

The extras advantage: this will get all the versions and all the metadata you've added in iPhoto.

Longer: Export the photos from one Library and import them to another. Upside: Free. Downside: have to choose between originals and edited versions, won't get all the metadata - exactly what you miss depends on the export settings you choose.
