May 7, 2012 6:26 AM in response to Cstoneavby dwb,★HelpfulIf water won't cut it, use a mild abrasive free cleaning product such as a window cleaner. Spray a small amount on the cleaning cloth - do not spray onto the computer and don't let the cloth become saturated.

May 7, 2012 6:30 AM in response to Cstoneavby RRFS,Too much moisture and you will wash that grime into your keyboard. You could use a dry toothbrush to brush away as much grime as possible, trying not to depress the keys with the bristles. Then moisten a lintfree cloth (not a paper towel) and wipe the keyboard but don't rub real hard as you could force stuff under the metal. Repeat until clean. They make clear covers for keyboards if you are working in a environment that isn't friendly.

Worked great from a dampened cloth.
Just needed someone to jump start my brain.
