I have a mac Pro with dual-core Intel xeon. I recently upgraded to snow leopard. I had been using idvd extensively to burn attractive menus for dance school dvds. I opened idvd this morning and tried to drag a video into an idvd menu. The program froze. This happened several times. I updated my disk permissions and tried again, same result. At this point, I don't know what else to do.
Any suggestions?

• trash iDVD Pref file - in Your User folder / Library / Preferences
iDVD pref. file resides.
Mac Hard Disk (start-up HD)/Users/"Your account"/Library/Preferences -
NOT the Root level Library (first one You see) as you open Mac Hard Disk
and is named. - com.apple.iDVD.plist
While iDVD is NOT RUNNING - move this file out to desk-top.
Now restart iDVD.
