MacBook Pro won't shut down

Hi, ASC's.

I have a late 2011 MacBook Pro, and everytime I open iTunes and sync one of my iDevices, my MacBook Pro won't shut down. I went in Disk utility, fixed the permissions, verified my HardDrive and everything appeared to be OK.

This is really staring to anoy me because, I can shut down my MacBook Pro but I have to do a force shut down and that damage's the HD!

Please if anyone has a way to fix this, please reply and show me exactly how to.

Thanks,

Thomas

K i have 2 ways.First way is to download and put the os x lion on a stick and re-install it properly.Second this can work also you can delete the itunes and re downloaded but i don't thik is a problem from the hardware and he do that only when you connect your idevice to your itunes.

Tty the second way first, and if dosen't work try the first 1 if it dosen't so go to apple costumer service.
