Java programs do not work from my Safari Browser

My new 27 in iMac has Java 32 bit and 64 bit installed. Some Java programs will not run from SAfari (or any other browser for that matter). Any Help?

iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.3)
