The new National Geographic ipad app update does not recognize my subscription.

Since the latest update to National Geographic Mag iPad App my in app One year subscription seems to no longer be recognized. No on at Nat Geo, or Apple can or will help. What should I do? Who can I contact that knows anything about the app? Very frustrating to get an answer.

Try turning subscriptions off then back on...



iTunes Store: Purchasing and managing auto-renewing subscriptions

And make sure Restrictions is not enabled: Settings > General > Restrictions

Hi Carolyn,


I have turned the subscription on and off, then checked for correct settings. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and I think that it may be OK now. I won't be sure until the next issue comes out. Apparently I made an in-app purchase of the one that would not be recognized by my subscription and paid 4.99 for that stupid mistake.

Live and learn. I'll let you know if the next issue is delivered as it should have been this month.
