May 7, 2012 1:06 PM in response to Nashita Khanby varjak paw,If you did not set up Find My iPod prior to your iPod being stolen, then sorry but there is no way to track it. Report the theft to the police and change the passwords to any online services you used from your iPod (the iTunes Store, bank accounts, etc.).
You can find the serial number to give to the police on the iPod's box, if you still have it, or in iTunes; go to the Preferences, select Devices, and hover your cursor over the backup file for the iPod. That should show you the serial number.

May 7, 2012 1:08 PM in response to Nashita Khanby lllaass,The SN will only helpidenitfy the iPod if it is recovered. You cant' track the iPod with the SN. You will have to look for it the old fashioned way.

Report it to thpolice and change the passwarods for all axcounts used on the iPod.

Also, go to iTunes>Preferences>Devioces and hover the mouse poointer over the iPod backup and the SN will pop up.
