How can I check my DSL line status?

Hi all.

I've got a Linksys WAG160N modem/router running in bridged mode (so modem only) connected to an Airport Extreme (5th Gen).

Is there anyway for me to check the status of my DSL connection? I can't access the Linksys web interface anymore on it's IP (192.168.1.1)

The only way at the moment is to connect with an ethernet cable directly to the Linksys, but this isn't convenient.
