I purchases "Pages" from the app store, I think it may have been deleted, I can't find it anywhere but "Settings" how do I restore it. When I go tp the app store it says the app has been installed. So what do I do next? In Settings "Pages" has a on/off button named "restore" I put to the "on" position but it's still lost from any and all desktop pages! Help

Try using the Spotligh search. Maybe you just can't find it.

Next try a reset. Nothing is lost

reset iPad. Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home

button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

That "restore" button in the Pages app is merely to restore the tutorial to the App and has nothing to do with restoring the app itself.

Do as lllaass is suggesting and search for the App. Chances are that it accidentally got moved into a folder or onto another screen on the iPad. Swipe from screen to screen to look for it. The spotlight search will confirm that the app is on your iPad - and you can launch the app from the search - but it will not tell you where the app is on the iPad.
