how can i update my mac ox s its a power book g4 to a quicktime 7.5.5

Can someone please assist me in helping me to get my itune working on this mac xo s/powerboo g4. The system telling me that i need to download quicktime or later cna someone please assit me.....................Thanks in adavnce
