My facebook keeps freezing, so I deleted then reinstalled via app store. Theicon is not shwoing, but safari does show that I have the app.Please help

Check Settings > Restrictions and see if you have Facetime turned off.
TS cannot find his Facebook icon.
Ooops.....I was reading it as Facetime. So sorry TS. From your home screen swipe the page to the right to reveal the Search Bar. Type Facebook and if the app is indeed on your iPad, search will find it for you. If it's not there, you can easily redownload it from the App Store.

No, you were right. I was reading it as Facetime, not Facebook. That's what I get for multi-tasking (answering work emails in-between forum posts).

What do you mean Safari shows it as a downloaded app? Safari is the web browser, not the App Store. Did you download the Facebook app from the App Store?
safari shows that i have the app,but it is not showing. app store shows that it is installed, icant see it however
