My iPod Classic keeps restarting, what do I do?

I just bought an iPod classic 5th gen and the iPod battery died. When I plugged it in, it turned on and the iPod couldnt start up. I felt the hard drive was turning then stopped and restarted and I cant get to my music and it wont show up in iTunes...



Please help

Try manually placing the iPod into Disk Mode and then connecting to iTunes. This may help the iPod to stop rebooting and stay on long enough for it to mount and be recognized by your PC and/or iTunes.
