I have a G5 with PPC 1.66, 1 gig ram, connected by Airport Extreme to my wireless system. I can get online with no problem. But it does not see my other computers, including MacBook Pro, as well as my back up disks (which are connected by ethernet to the wireless router). Is there a setup issue or does my OS (Panther) not up to handling such networking?
Search through Knowledge Base and/or Software Update for AE updates for your OS system. Read AE user manual as well as KB regarding system requirements.
==========================Change your router channel number. Most times this works & is all you have to do.
System Preferences>Network
Click the Assist Me button.
In the next window that pops up, click the Diagnostic button & do the necessary.
