Why is Keynote so useless?
Having to indent subordinate text before you can add bullets to those lines of text is counterintuitive. What if you want bullets below a heading but don't want them indented? Plus, if you select subordinate text and try to apply a bullet to them, Keynote puts a bullet on the heading line -- and none on the selected text underneath!!
This is a very weak program from a user's perspective, and the Help screens are aggressively useless. My favourite Keynote feature? If you create a text box and start typing beyond the boundaries of the original text box size, the program doesn't automatically extend the text box. It hides the text, gives you a plus sign and forces you to break off writing and manually extend the text box so you can see all your text. Yippee. It's like the software designers of this program held a context to see who could create the most annoying and ridiculous feature.
Easy fix -- Make. It. A. Preferences. Option. You remember Preferences, don't you Apple?
