The only thing you can do is to restore from backup that you have. If some of your text from your bf was included in that backup that all you will get. Also if you restore from that backup - you will lose current pics and texts.

You can import your pics to your pc http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 then sync it back via iTunes.
