Mac Mail problems???

I'm curious if anyone else is having as much trouble with Mac Mail as I am. Constant freezing and locking up. I have to "force quit" it several times a day. I hope this summer when Mountain Lion comes out this will be a better more stable probram.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.3), 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3, 16 GB RAM

Nope. Never had a problem. You must have some other piece of s/w causing it to crash?
