Hello guys,

I have my MacBook Pro 13" for about 3 months now.I

But if I work with the MB or even surf in the net, sometimes the hole system is freezing and the colorball appears.

This lasts for about 20 sec or longer and than everythin is fine again.

After the last freeze I looked in the console and the last message was:

sandboxd: ([11223]) VTDecoderXPCServ(11223) deny mach-lookup com.apple.windowserver.active

Can somebody help me?

Thanks!

Patrick

    Hi Patrick...

    Startup in Safe Mode

Safe Mode deletes system caches that may help.

A Safe Mode boot definitely takes longer than a normal boot so be patiient.

Once you see the Desktop, click the Apple menu top left in the screen. From the drop down menu click Restart.

If Safe Mode didn't help, use Lion Recovery  to repair the startup disk or reinstall the Mac OS X.

    Hi,

thank you very much for your quick answer!

I even tryed the startup in Safe Mode and now I hope that this solves my problem.

If the problem appears again I will get in touch with you.

    Thanks a lot again!

    Hello again.

well the startup in Safe Mode didn't really help.

Is it possible that this short freezes comes from the hard drive. When I got my MB I directly changed my HDD to a Cursial M4 SSD-drive.

Please can you help me again.

    thanks!
