Will they ever release IOS 5.2
The last IOS upgrade 5.1.1 released on May 7 did not have anything on improving the battery life for the iPhone 4S

iOS 5.1.1 was not intended to improve battery life. As for the release of a further software update, no one here can tell you that and users of this forum are prohibited from speculating.
Nobody knows until apple informs us. the IOS 5.1.1 wasn't an updated to improve battery life. did you read the detail of the the upgrade?

As for your battery life issue, take a look at this help page for settings on the iPhone that may stretch your battery life.
What I would like is to further customize Siri. Instead of reading the weather from Yahoo!, I would like to make Siri read the weather from AccuWeather App instead.
You are way off topic. Anyway, the answer to your question is no, Siri works only with the default apps that came with the iPhone.
