Tv does not recognize video signal

Could you perhaps tell us which Apple TV you have, what you have done to try to resolve your issue and anything about your setup that might be relevant.

many tv's dont automaticly change input source so the user have to choose the hdmi port the atv is connected to before it show anything on the screen
