How can I make a collage using Iphoto?

Unless I'm mistaken in Iphoto 11 you can select a few photos and then say share/email. That brings up a simple collage type tool that allows you to pick some basic options for how you would like your photos to be organized when sending out via email. We use this all the time to create a quick collage. I believe you can also choose to attach the original photos. I have noticed that sometimes, depending upon the email client of the person reading the email, that the collage might not come out exactly as it looked on your mac. Hope that helps.

In addition to the apps in the link that Terence provided you can use Pages which is part of the iWork suite of applications. If you have Pages it's really pretty simple.
