Q: How do I set up mail as if it were the first time?
I, of course, messed up my accounts in mail; I do not want to restore; I want to start over AKA like when I 1st set it up......if you look at my username it will explain a lot....thanks in advance

Just trash this file in your user /Library/Preferences
com.apple.mail.plist
And the contents of these, not their enclosing folders, in your user /Library
Mail Downloads
If you're running Lion, your user Library won't be visible. You can get to it by using Go>Go to Folder and type ~/Library from the Menubar. Trash the last two first.
