You cannot reinstall without an installer disc. However, if your computer meets the requirements for upgrading to Snow Leopard then you can purchase a Snow Leopard DVD from Apple's Online Store.

If you are currently a MobileMe subscriber or were a subscriber and have switched to iCloud, you can get a free copy of Snow Leopard to help with the upgrade to Lion now or Mountain Lion this summer. Visit this link for Free Snow Leopard. Sign in with your MobileMe ID and password.

Of you can order replacements for the discs that came with your computer:

Apple Store Customer Service at 1-800-676-2775 or visit online Help for more information.
