How do I know my laptop is secured?

the reason why i am asking is because, today my itunes was opening with out me even clicking the icon. i was wondering if something was going on or do i have a virus?

You do not have a virus.
Do you have iTunes set up to launch on startup? Check under System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items.
