Time Zone Incorrect On Web Mail (UK)

When I access my iCloud e-mail via the web the time stamp for e-mails is completely wrong. Have gone and checked the time zone setting and this is set correctly (also switched back and forth between time zones). Time stamps on ios devices are correct and think this has only manifested itself today 8 may 2012. Anyone else having this issue?

I am also having the same issue since yesterday morning (May 8). I am in the US, CST and all of a sudden my email in icloud switched to PST time stamps. I've checked/tried everything I can think of. Time Zone settings on all devices and icloud are on CST. My ios devices are all correct time stamps. Interestingly, my icloud calendar is also showing the correct CST time stamps. So it's only affecting the icloud email.

I have this problem too. So I tested sending an email from my iCloud webmail to my iCloud email and also another of my email accounts. Date/time shows correctly when the email is viewed in an email client (Outlook). Also the me.com email viewed on my iPod Touch views correctly. However, look at it in the Inbox in iClould webmail and it shows the time/date format as if I am in like California or something. I am in New Zealand so it shows as yesterday. This is rather annoying. As others have mentioned my location is correctly set in iCloud. I have even tried changing it and then reselecting it but to no avail. So I'm thinking this is definitely an iCloud issue. It's like the iCloud mail Inbox is defaulting to the server's local time (I am assuming that that is in California). Please fix this.

Hi Nathan-

Same issue here in Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). I recall problem starting around that date.

iCloud displays Pacific Daylight Time in browser view (Internet Explorer 8.0.7600...). However all connected devices (mobile, desktop) for the same account display time correctly (i.e. EDT).

I can't seem to locate how to adjust time in Settings (via a device) or Preferences (via the browser).

Hi Brian,

Time zone is changed in the iCloud homescreen (where you can see mail, contacts, calendar etc).

You click on your name (top right), then time zone.

However changing time zone (for me at least) makes no difference.

I am in the UTC time zone (UK), and all my message display as 8 hrs behind. It makes no difference if i select the UTC+8 time zone they still display as 8 hrs behind current real time.

I guess we just have to leave it as feedback - http://www.apple.com/feedback/icloud.html

Yep - Same here (I too am in the UK)

Changing to something else and then changing back to UK makes no difference... how annoying.... but it's only on icloud.com

Mail on both the iMac and iPhone are fine and displaying the correct time.

Have left feedback for Apple and hopefully they'll sort it soon enough....

Regards,

Sean
