Q: Migration Assistance Waiting to Connect to Mac

I have downloaded the Migration Assistance to PC and opened it on Mac as instructed. Windows is stuck on waiting to connect with Mac and Mac is providing a code which is not showing in Windows. Both the Mac and PC are on the same network so not sure how to troubleshoot this problem. Any assistanc will be greatly appreciated.

AFAICT, windows shouldn't be stuck doing anything. Review http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4796 and ensure you're doing it correctly. BTW, I don't have a PC, so can't help further.

I followed the instructions provide in link as well as Mac manual and "waiting to connect to Mac" was the result, thus, my reason for seeking advice from apple community.

Thanks for the feedback, then, you'll have to await for the windoze gurus to pop in. All I can surmise is that it's probably a network issue.
