just got new iphone 4gs and shows like a lock in the upper right corner. When i am viewing pictures or on the web when i rotate my phone the screen won't rotate with it. any suggestions

Double tap the Home button, multitask interface will appear.
Swipe right till you see the music icon, tap the left icon to lock/unlock orientation.
