Failure Deploying F5 SSL VPN Configuration with Profile Manager

I have successfully enabled Profile Manager under Lion Server 10.7.3, and have enrolled an iPad, iPhone, and MacBook Air. I have also been able to successfully push out numerous profile configurations from password policies to Exchange email settings.

However, I'm not able to push out settings for the F5 SSL VPN. I've configured a payload with the proper information to connect to our F5 Firepass VPN server and have also configured a payload to deploy a certificate for use by the VPN paylod, but when I try to push it out, all I get is "Push Settings: Settings for iPad Failed". There is no other information shown in Profile Manager. When I look at the log file under /Library/Server/ProfileManager/Logs/profilemanager.log it has absolutely no entries for the date and time when I try to push the VPN settings.

I have downloaded and installed F5 Networks' BIG-IP Edge Client app from the app store, which is required to use the VPN payload settings.

I'm at a loss as to what is causing the failure. I've tried multiple ways of deploying the VPN settings payload: with and without a certificate, tried different URLs for the server, different usernames, etc.

But, when I try to deploy configuration settings for one of iOS's built-in VPN configurations (L2TP, PPTP, IPSec) those DO work correctly.

If anyone has any suggestions or has seen similar issues, I'd love to hear your ideas.
