Not a problem I'm familiar with, but a little research suggests it can sometimes happen as iTunes attempts to connect to the iTunes store. Disconnect your computer from the internet and see if iTunes will open now. If so go to advanced preferences and empty the store cache, delete the contents of iTunes Media\Download (not sure how that translates) and then try again while connected to the internet.

I manually deleted my itunes media download content, and my computer doesn't seem to react when I click the 'delete cache' button in the advanced preferences.

When I try to open the store, it always load like 80% and then crashes with the same useless message:

`` Itunes a cessé de fonctionner. Windows va fermer ce programme et vous indiquer si une solution est disponible.``
