After my original hard-drive crashed, now I have my Macbook Pro back I'm trying to re-install Aperture 2 but it claims the installation code in invalid. Any ideas?

Are you referring to the serial number? If so make sure you're entering it correctly. Given the length of the serial number and the similarities between O and 0 and 1 and l it's easy to make a mistake.
See Troubleshooting Professional Application Serial Numbers and if that doesn't help try Pro Application Replacement Serial Numbers for a way to get a new number.

Yeah that's the one! There's only one zero in the number. I've tried it numerous times now and no luck 😐
What is the exact error message you get?
I think someone else is having the same issue. I think AppleCare is the way to go in resolving serial number issues, but if you call and they don't get to the bottom of it, let us know.
