Cutting out 15,500hz - 16,000hz

Cutting out 15,500hz - 16,000hz

I just started using Soundtrack Pro and had a question that i couldn't find in the tutorial, i've got some mic noise thats consistantly 15,500hz - 16,000hz and all i want to do is cut out that freq from the whole project. I searched through the filters and couldn't find one that did this. Any help would be appreciated thx

Jon,

Would the match eq function (process, effects, eq and filter) or also as a realtime filter, work?

You can use Channel EQ to do that. Remember you're not stuck with the default frequencies. Also, try adjusting the Q until you get what you want. And don't use shelving filter, use bandpass (those in the middle).
