screen not responding

A little courtesy goes even longer. I worked as a tech attendant, all the available answers for potential rectification of our problems are at your fingertips. I know the job of a tech attendant is a somewhat thankless job a lot of the time, but these phones often are the only connect people have to the outside world, so panic can run high.

GAILIPAD : Press and hold the power button and the home button for about 12 seconds or until the Apple logo comes up and it starts to reboot.

It could just be a bad/broken lcd digitizer that is the actual screen behind the glass and you can buy new ones online.

what you need to do is hold down the home and lock button untill the screen turns off. keep holding the home button untill it turns on. if that doesnt work try again. usually hold for about 10-20 seconds.
