Cat Games

Any statements from Apple regarding iPad cat games? Or how scratch-resistant the screen is?

I know everyone's probably got their opinion on this... (Which is why I'm hoping for something official or at least from a reputable source.)

Not to hijack the thread, but it's a slow evening, friskies has a couple of apps designed for cats. I have access to three cats, different families. And they all, to some extent, respond to the apps.

But I don't think a cat claw has enough tensile strength to scrath glass, and I certainly have not seen any problem. The only hard part is I can't read the forum messages if the cat is using the pad.

This is a user to user to forum, so Apple is not here. Under no condition would I let my cat use her claws on my iPad screen. While the iPad screen has an Oleophobic coating, it is not scratch proof and if you let your cat play games on your screen, I'd be willing to bet, your cat will scratch the screen, which Apple will not replace, because that would be user damage.

Yea, I know Apple's not here :] thought maybe they made a statement advising against it, which another user knew of. And I understand Apple would never replace a screen for scratches but it's highly questionable whether they could be scratched by a cat's claws, which are not much different in composition to my long nails constantly tapping the screen. There are so many Apps, if iPads were getting scratched, I think there would be more widespread information warning against it...
