Yes, if you have a need to have all 1,300 songs downloaded, you will need to down load them individually, or at least by album. Otherwise, you can synch with iTunes and move them into the iPad that way.
iTunes won't let you sync music if the user has iTunes Match. Is there a simpler way to get one's music from computer to iPad without manually re-downloading songs one-by-one? iTunes Match is supposed to simplify, not take away options and make it harder to access music.
One thing that might work is if you put all of your songs into a play list then there is the download all button at the bottom. Then if you don't want that playlist after you can delete it and you should have all the songs downloaded. Now I haven't tried this but in theory it should work just fine.
So am I to understand that the only way to get all music back down from the cloud is the one playlist option? I had a hard drive (and back up) crash and I'm trying to get a hard copy of my songs back down from match. Thanks.
