But all of my songs are stored on my iMac. So why do only some have no icon?

May 10, 2012 1:15 PM in response to johndaltby Winston Churchill,Different icons mean different things. For example in my earlier post the items with the iCloud icon with a line through it indicates that they are not eligible for iCloud, they are still on my Mac though.

May 10, 2012 1:46 PM in response to Winston Churchillby johndalt,Ok thanks. But I understand the different icons like duplicate clouds and cloud with hash through it means ineligible, and ghost clouds means upload to icloud is pending, etc.
Correct me if I am wrong but songs that have been uploaded and matched in the cloud have an empty cloud icon? No hash, no red ex.. just an outline of the cloud. I am assuming this means that these songs are now available in the cloud.
So why does a large chunk of songs have no icon what so ever? Like in your example above?

The tunes in your iTunes library that do not have icons have already been uploaded or matched in iTunes match but are still on your computer.
