Just recorded from Sony XDcam through Black Magic AETM Studio in ProRes422. The files, when viewed in Quicktime are in perfect sync. When I import into FCP the audio is roughly 3:00 late. Sequence settings match file settings and codecs. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have a look at the Frame Offset in FCP "system settings" playback control.

Thank you for the reply. Took a look and wasn't the issue. Oddly enough, we did a test, exported a self contained move of a small section and although it was out of sync in the timeline, the exported movie was in perfect sync. Go figure.
If you're monitoring your audio with an external interface and the video isn't following the same signal/route, the audio will be out of sync in FCP but will play fine in Quicktime player. Changing the frame offset will usually rectify this.
