How can I access the cookies stored by Safari without jailbraking my iPad?

The cookies from Safari are presumably stored here:

/private/var/mobile/Library/Safari/History.plist

I need access to that file without jailbraking my ipad. How can I access it?

iFile doesn't seem to let me see the systems and root directories.

To repeat James, what is it you are trying to do? There may be other ways to get there?

Soto, I doubt that the guy just wants to look at the cookies. He is probably trying to solve some issue. We, and he, all know that you cannot get there directly from here. Leave it at that until he responds or dosent respond.

Thanks, I know, and knew that, I was just making a comment so he or she knew in general that mentioning Jailbraiking was not something to do on these forums per Apples rules. But like i told him to do, just delete the cookies....but thank you for your useless comment back to me, seeing as the thread should have ended since you added nothing useful after my comment. Have a nice day 😀

  1. If you understood he wasn't inquiring about jail breaking, then YOUR comment was pretty much a waste, wasn't it. By the nature of your response, it was far from clear you did understand.
  2. Since he didn't ask about deleting cookie files, but ACCESSING them, the response you gave concerning that is far from complete, and consequently the thread far from over.
  3. Have a nice day yourself 😀

What is your need in accessing the cookies? You are correct, you can't get to the file structure in iOS, but perhaps there is another approach, depending on what you want to do.
